Arrowroot flour is a nutritious food, obtained from the fleshy rootstock of a tropical American plant. It makes an excellent thickening agent in recipes. It has the same effect as corn flour, arrowroot powder can be used at lower temperature to makes the soup becomes thick, but corn flour must be presented at a higher temperature level to thickening in recipe.
